Jan joined the I Can Therapy Centre in 2021 after spotting us in the local paper. Her journey hasn’t been without challenges – after a serious fall, Jan faced multiple injuries and complications in hospital, including pneumonia and a pulmonary embolism.
Despite the setback, Jan’s core strength shone through. Hospital staff were amazed by her resilience, crediting the progress she’d made at the Centre for helping her through recovery.
After weeks away from the circuit, Jan wasn’t nervous – she was relieved to return, knowing just how much the sessions support her strength and independence. She’s proud of the mobility she’s maintained and believes that without her regular visits, she wouldn’t have gained the strength she has today.
